World Book Day Costume making workshop

Friday 25th February between 12 noon and 3 pm

We are very excited to tell you about a half term event for children and their families. Orinoco, the Oxfordshire Scrapstore is partnering with World Book Day in a costume making workshop at our shop in Templars Square, Cowley on Friday 25th February. Running from 12:00-3:00 families will be able to book their slot and work with costume makers and resources to bring to life a character from their favourite book, in readiness for World Book Day on 3 March. The workshops are free. All we ask, is for people to register on our Facebook page to book and to bring an old T-shirt on the day that they don’t mind sticking and sewing to.

Banbury Store Opens

New shop opens in Banbury, 2nd October 2021

The Orinoco team has been working hard behind the scenes to bring back the Orinoco store.  Fortunately, we have found a meanwhile space in Banbury, it’s in the pedestrian Old Town at 15 High Street.  Any the town centre car parks are suitable or we are under 10 minutes walk from the train station.

As well as craft materials and tools we are accepting waste small electrical items, repair and PAT test these and then have them available for sale at very affordable prices.

Oxford Store Update

We are working hard to reopen here in Oxford.  We endeavour to get the store reopened but this is a difficult process due to the current store not being in line with the current government guidelines with regard COVID-19.  In due course we hope to start with a click and collect and then by appointment only.
